Dedicated to preserving the traditional craft of Drystone Walling.
This the building in Polbain, near Achiltibuie in Ross-Shire that I completed recently. More detailed pictures can be found by clicking 'The Shed' on the menu to the left.
One of my first jobs; near Dundonnell, Ross-Shire. To repair an old ruin around a new patio. I laid the patio and built a stone bench and corner garden. These can be seen on the Completed Repairs page.
One of my early repairs, starting from the dog and continuing into the background.
Most of my work so far has been in the form of functional stock walls and garden boundaries or features. However, I look forward to getting the opportunity to build another building and also to doing some artistic work.
I also hope that potential opportunities for work in Ireland and Switzerland will become reality in the coming months. I will be endeavouring to attract work and opportunities in any area of Europe and the World.
